In the seventeenth century in the Carribean roamed and old, cruel and bloody thirsty pirate who went under the name of Captain Desilver. It was the speed of his cutlass which gained him his nickname, the admiration of all the mermaids from the Caribbean but also a certain refinement for which the gentry envied him.

It was said that he got his vigour and vitality from a concoction of spices known only to him. He mixed it with the finest Caribbean rum and let it mature in a cave whipped by sea foam.

Rum Desilver is a distilled alcohol beverage which is not made from molasses but sugarcane juice by a process of fermentation and distillation. The rum obtains its flavor through addition of secret spices from Saint Barth. That's why rum Desilver has the appellation which is White rum with secret spices from Saint Barth.

In order to obtain the best quality of sugarcane, the harvest is done in the period from February till June. Then sugar cane is cut and is quickly used for rum production.

After filtration sugarcane juice is put into big vats to ferment naturally for 48 hours. During this period sugar transforms in alcohol. Then rum is done using column still distillation. The alcohol content is reduced by adding some distilled water, then the rum is bottled.

The pecularity of Rum Desilver is its secret spices, which results in a very original taste.
